Possible WWII Japanese Yosegaki Flag Translation

Greetings! A lot of fake flags out there, and I am trying to discover if this one is real. Can someone please translate it for me? Thank you for any help!

Maybe not all fakes.

In the early 70's flags like this were often given as presents. I have one just like your picture that all my friends signed as a going away present. The cloth ages fast and mine looks like it could be from WWII time it is so yellowed and worn. I'll bet a lot of them are floating around that were gifts like mine.

Thanks, UF; I kind of figured something like this. Sellers "assume" if it has a white field, red dot, and kanji then it must be WWII.

The date written on the flag is November 16, 1945 i.e. after WWII, nevertheless, there are phrases like "May God prosper your arms" or "at Mizuhara Army Hospital". I think that's a fake.

That's a US Navy's propaganda bill, not a Japanese newspaper.

Were you the buyer, the seller, or just an observer?

Mike: I was interested because it is a smaller flag in the Yosegaki style. I was considering bidding, but just wanted opinions. On this site people like Toritoribe and several others have contributed to my understanding of WWII Japanese soldier personal items. In this case, after reading a couple of opinions I didn't feel that this was an item that was in the context that I prefer.
