大概（たいがい）

i was wondering if you can use 大概 with regards to time.
for example does it work with the following.

大概毎年は日本に休暇で行きます

almost every year I go to japan for vacation.

I'm not sure about the use of 大概 but I can recommend you "たいてい", it feels somewhat closer to "almost always/usually" and is used a lot to point temporal happening.

thank you kraisesan. たいてい is what I usually hear. I just saw that word and wasn't sure if it had the same meaning.

は is not needed after 毎年.
大概毎年 is acceptable, but ほとんど/ほぼ毎年 is far common. If you want to use 大概, 大概の年（は） is the best choice.
