Was wondering how everyone (mainly newbies) revises and practices their Japanese? I pretty much use 2 main methods..
What I like to call ''visual immersion'' I put symbols and little notes on pieces of paper and blu tac them literally everywhere around my room so their always in my face. Some examples are... round my laptop screen I have the numbers 1-30 in Kanji and Hiragana, stuck to the palm of my mouse I have the Kanji symbol for Time, round my tv screen I have all my Hiragana, sentences rules stuck to the wall next to my bed so i can stare at them when I cant sleep. I have a single little Kanji symbol stuck on my tv remote, deodrant can, mobile phone, shaving mirror, multi vits container, water bottle cap, lamp shade, on the front of all my textbooks, glasses case, all my weight discs, light switches etc. All things I interact with on a daily basis I see the little symbol and learn so quickly.
Got a little white board too, just shoot out as many kana as I can remember then wipe off then do more. At the moment I've mastered them as I can remember them all but the repitition still helps with the stroke orders as thats something I still mess up a lot...
Just reading strait from a book or computer screen never works for me I dont take anything else in.. Anyone else like that?
P.s. yeah my room does look like a crazy person lives in there..
