Not cool. Someone has explained the difference between originally Japanese words and the counterpart loanwords from Chinese to you a couple of times on another website. Stop asking the same questions on multiple sites. You don't test us that way.

nop, i've read every single reply i've received, and this is the first time im asking for the difference between この頃 and 最近. if you are so sure that its not my first time asking this question, kindly point me the url where i've asked this question before eh?

They are interchangeable most of the times, as far as you are talking about the recent past including "now".

Only when you're talking about a specific time which has already past, you can use 最近 but not この頃.
最近山田さんに会った。 OK
この頃山田さんに会った。 NG

Maybe they are a bit like "these days" and "recently".

Btw, do you mean something like この頃 refers more to a "duration" ?
