During my stay in Japan, I have seen this fruit in yogurt mostly. I don't know the english word( or if there is one) for it, well I think that it is called natadekoko, well it is very good in yogurt. I would just like to know more about it, Anyone ever heard of or eaten it?

Thanks.

Natadekoko (Nata de coco) is not really Japanese food, it's imported from Philippines.
It was introduced to Japan may years ago and became quite popular because people like its texture. It is quite popular along with Aloe. Besides yogurt, you'll find many jellies and drinks with nata de coco. :)
