X-Japan

Yeah! it's great to see them back on stage! I was so over whelmed when I heard they
were going to take the lead of the stages once again!!! 😊
But it would have been awesome to have them come to Canada :?

I'm also glad that Sugizo took the guitar part of hide!!! (i know he's still technically there
and always will! dont get me wrong!;;) He was friends with hide! so it is just fair! 😎

I saw a couple videos up on youtube of people at anime conventions getting to
meet Yoshiki! like what that would be my dream?! why not me? what did I do in
my past life that was so terrible? :D anyways!

It's good to hear from them, oh vkei gods! :-) hehe gotta love them!

hide~ 😍

thats so damn beautiful *_*
where is this?

Awesome, wish I could have been there seeing them RL ...

Luv the stage, very pretty decor :-)

Okay, I cannot stop thinking about this, but Yoshiki got an offer for X Japan to play at Lollapalooza, main stage, is this true!?! It's on wikipedia, but I can't trust them....so are they playing or is it just a rumor!?

Hmm, I'm surprised that no one is talking about Toshi getting a divorce.

For those who want to know here is the article:

X Japan vocalist Toshi announces divorce, sayonara concert
Thursday 21st January, 03:08 AM JST

TOKYO —
X Japan vocalist Toshi announced his divorce and separation from the self-development seminar group, "Home of Heart," this week, and will perform a "sayonara show" produced by band leader Yoshiki on Feb 24.

Toshi told reporters at a press conference that details on the location for the show, which would "separate" him from the past, would be announced at a later date.

On Tuesday night, Yoshiki posted a comment on his official mobile phone website saying, "I hope we can support Toshi from both close and afar… Now and in the future, our feelings for him won't change."

Toshi's wife Kaori, 40, whom he is currently in the process of divorcing, posted on her own blog a cryptic message that said, "To become a ladder for someone important, to get covered in mud for the one you love.. that's enough."

Nice pics, thanks!

From what I understand, he's in debt and is leaving that Home of Heart group he joined when he left X. He speaking out against them, claiming that they used him to get female members.

I have no idea who Masaya is.

X JAPAN " JADE " Full video in L.A. with sub (fanmade)

And about Masaya - he is the one (if i am not mistaken) who called Toshi in that sekt or what...
Aish, i dont remember well now...

I'm surprised to see that kind of comment about X Japan. No offense, but I never heard someone describe X Japan as "commercial." LOL The first thing I ever saw from them was the 1993 performance of Art of Life in the Tokyo Dome (on Youtube).

Which video did you see?

I'll admit, Jade is definitely commercial sounding. I.V. also, but their stuff from '87, '89, etc. is totally indie speed metal, and as they grew, they injected more classical and symphonic influences into their music.

i just joined and saw this thread so thought Id join in:

I was also at the Yoshiki foundation party and its what I expected with less songs but overall a fun night, since I was able to join my friends in the Media area and get close and talk to Yoshiki and Stan Lee at the time. (ok enough of me being super happy, sorry ^^)

anyway the one thing I didnt see is the tour dates X Japan is doing for the US starting in 2 weeks.

28 Fox Theatre, Oakland, CA

OCTOBER
1 Paramount Theatre, Seattle, WA
3 Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver, BC CANADA

I'm going to Roseland Ballroom the 10th! By the way, there is a list of the Tour Dates on Facebook too. My request to everyone is to add yourself to the shows you are going to! :D And invite some friends so we can rock out with X Japan!
This link is the search results from Facebook's Events section listing each tour date. Since I am new the Forum is blocking me from posting the link, but search for X Japan (MAKE SURE YOU CLICK "See More Results") to get the full list of shows! :)

haha its easier to post it here than on Facebook cause some people are sort of lazy to do the searching. Im pretty psyched up saw Dir en Grey now awaiting the X to get on stage and make my week even better with all the hard work hearing a few of my favorite songs will just make it all better.

X Japan and X Japan fans unite!

Well tomorrow starts the beginning of the tour, and the X Japan fans will be rocking out to the hopefully super explosive show the band will be performing for us since Saturday at the Wiltern in Los Angeles is the offical start of the US Tour.

X Freaks Rock out!
