The Alliance of European National Movements (AENM) to to visit Yasukuni

The "europarty" coalition of many of Europe's far-right parties, is to hold a week-long conference in the Japanese capital to discuss "The Future of Nationalist Movements" in partnership with Issuikai, or "Wednesday Society" in Japanese in mid-August.

The European Delegation will consist of:

1.UK National Party leader Nick Griffin
2. France FN leadear Jean Marie Le Pen
3. Hungary's Jobbik's Bela Kovacs
4. Belgium's Flemish separatist Vlaams Belang
5. Italy's Fiamma Tricolore
6. Ataka from Bulgaria
7. Portugal's Partido Nacional Renovador and Svoboda
8. Plus, Ukrainian group

The AENM will send 20 delegates. While in Japan, the AENM delegation will make a visit to the Yasukuni shrine.

French National Front leader Jean-Marie Le Pen leads a delegation of far-right European politicians to Japan this week where they plan to visit Tokyo's controversial Yasukuni shrine to war dead.
The delegation will include representatives of the British National Party (BNP), Austria's Freedom Party (FPOe), Hungary's Jobbik, and the Vlaams Belang party of Belgium.

I absolutely hate racists. For the longest time, Irish Americans were considered the job stealing immigrants that Mexicans are allegedly today, so, when I hear someone say, "close the borders", it makes me want to kick them out of the country, and invite a couple more immigrants to make my country more diverse and strong.

It's just so sad that we turn on ourselves and call for national unity in the form of the blood of innocents in times of economic and social depression. I will never stand by such nationalistic views. We people of this planet are all one, and we cannot forge the future without standing by each other.

I don't have any specific thought about Nick Griffin, the leader of UK BNP, but he seems to have Some Opportunities to try and get his name in TV as well as papers in his country.

Nick Griffin is a homophobic racist. His sort of thinking doesn't belong in this time. The whole world condemns them, what opportunities are there for such racists? I don't see many, as I believe the world has grown up, even if just by a little bit.

What disturbs me, Astroboy, is how you seemed excited about this meeting of racists and nationalists. You should be condemning them for their ignorance.

Despite lots of hatred towards Nick Griffin, a leader of UK political party, his policy has been supported by many Britons with percentage of votes at some 8-10% or more.

I can't believe that a bunch of racists who hate everything that moves around are gathering in a place that is honor for those who died in wars. And, do you really believe that they going to talk about problems in the EU? Obviously the press is not a good think to count about to have news. It's total BS if you ask me...
