There's this book's dialog:

レオ： いいんですか
Leo: Is it OK?

みか： もちろんよ。レオとは、なんか縁があるもんね。
Mika: Of course. It seems that somehow there's a bond between us.

Is in this case もん used as because?. May be a more literal translation could be:
"Of course. Because there's something that bond us."

Exactly, it means "because". That's the euphonic change of the sentence final particle もの, but not of the noun/pronoun もの. So it doesn't have the meaning of "something". The noun/pronoun もの doesn't change to もん at least in standard Japanese. (It can be occurred in Kansai or some other dialect, though.)

Two more questions:
- Could it have been with から?
As in: レオとは、なんか縁があるからね

- I couldn't find は meaning "me" in any dictionary. What I'm missing?
Definitions I've found:
1. topic marker particle
2. indicates contrast with another option (stated or unstated)
3. adds emphasis

なんか is already given as "somehow" in the translation. That's an adverbial usage, not a nominal or "something".

It can mean "something like a bond" if it's 縁か何[なに]か/縁みたいな何かがある. Anyway, "there's a bond" is a quite literal translation of 縁がある, since 縁 is used as a noun, but not a verb "to bond", here.

Of course #1, that's a typical topic marker. "Me" is from と itself. You don't need to say ～と私は every time.

あなたと can mean "you and someone", depending on the context, of course.

The link in the thread works all right. The problem is on your side.
