On this tricentennial post, may I once again remind everyone to not feed the trolls? Have a good day.

Hi Glen. How are you? Do you call yourself "Glenski" because you have Polish ancestry or do you just think it "sounds catchy"?

I was just wondering what you would call someone who engages foreign coworkers in conversation and encourages them to tell him about their frustrations, dissatisfaction and etc in their work and then report what they say to management? Do you still do that?

BTW You are aware of how intensely almost all the foreigners who know you dislike you, aren't you?

And if I may engage in a little amateur psychology..... If you don't want anyone to reply to me why do you yourself reply to me but them delete my quote? I think you crave my attention but don't want anyone else to notice it. Sorry to disappoint you but I have to tell you I am 100% heterosexual and even if I weren't, I intensely dislike you anyway!🙂

Looks like Glenski made a friend!

Hmmmmmm I thought I made it perfectly clear that i wasn't his friend..... He drinks beer like a little girl! Perhaps that has something to do with his suppressed homosexuality. Just speculating because I really wouldn't know about that.🙂

Reyter you don't have to be so coy, we all can tell you have a thing for Glenski :cracker:😍🌹

Oh look , its Reyter, where idiocy has no bounds... I still see you are crying like a 6 year old girl, ah well ,seems like nothing has changed.

Hmmmmm You are another I said i would ignore from now but I can't help it LOL:D

I am so flattered you would go to the trouble of editing an image just for me but on a darker note, I really pity that you haven't been able to find a decent job yet. I mean, I know you aren't too bright but can't you even get a job as a cleaner or something like that? Surely it's better than trawling through discussion boards and editing flippant images, isn't it?

I must report something that a lot of you people will hate. I'm sorry for that but one can't please everyone all the time although I tryツ….

I was riding my bicycle (a typical bicycle of the type that is very common in Japan) along a relatively busy street. There were at least Japanese 3 people on exactly the same kind of bicycles from 5 to 15 meters in front of me and at least the same behind. I say at least because there were quite a few but I wasn't counting.

Ahead I saw a policeman standing next to a little tree seemingly watching the people on bicycles go by on a wide footpath. I kept going and shortly thereafter he saw me and all hell broke loose. He jumped out from next to the tree into the middle of the footpath waving his arms and pointing at me. I stopped and after saying some idiotic nonsense about using 2 locks (during which time another little pig emerged from the shadows) he said he was going to check the registration. I gave him my first name and said ツ"hurry upツ". While he was waiting for the results the other little pig asked if I could speak English. I said ツ"yesツ" and then he asked where I bought the bicycle from. I said ツ"a shopツ". He asked me to repeat and so I did but he couldn't understand so (by this stage in a terrible state of irritation as there were large numbers of people passing on bicycles whom the pigs had no interest in) I said quite loudly ツ"窶弭窶堙?". He then asked in English if I bought it from a shop in ###### (this city) and I said in Japanese ツ"No more questions. Hurry up!ツ" (motioning to the pig waiting for the bicycle registration details over the radio.)

Now we come to the crux of the situationツ….. The pig making sure I didn't take off before the registration details were received asked to see my alien registration card. I asked ツ"whyツ"? He said because in Japan the police have the right to do that. I said ツ"窶堋サ窶堋、窶堙??堋キ窶堋ゥ?ツ" and went into my wallet but instead pulled out Debitos paper about foreigners rights. I added ツ"You are not a lawyer, only a policeman.ツ" He didn't reply to that but took the paper and went over to the other pig who was waiting for the registration details. They looked at it and engaged in some conversation I couldn't hear and shortly thereafter turned around with the most flagrant forced smile I have ever seen, handed back the paper and said ツ"okツ". I snatched the paper out his hands and left without turning back though I later regretted not calling them idiots and/or fascists or something of that nature.

lol I never thought that this thread will end up like this...oh well I didn't live in Japan, I just go there for vacation, I stayed there for 5 months.

For me most of the people are very nice, especially in Nagoya, they helped me a lot especially that I cant speak Japanese well and I also sometimes get free gifts from shops after buying.....about hotels I never got rejected so I cant say much about it, I got harassed a couple of times by drunk old men walking beside me...but I cant complain since it may happen to any girl not only foreigners and it never got serious, they leave the moment they get rejected.

Yet I can see what Reyter is saying...I sometimes got stared at with hate and angry faces especially from men, lol most of them were in suits and I have no idea why....and I even got ignored like 6 times by shopkeepers while trying to buy something from them.

The good thing is that I got well treated 10 times more than mistreated and I'm sure that some Japanese men have their own reason for hating foreigners...or must I say men in suits? :p

I have reiterated several times that most people are very decent. It's a little surprising that you can see several Japanese people here defending flagrant racial discrimination by the police but I have seen nothing to suggest they aren't part of the very noisy but very small and impotent fascist element.

I am merely pointing out the flagrant racial discrimination practiced by Japanese police and the fact that foreigners have the right to prevent their little power trips and that if all foreigners take it upon themselves to exercise their rights as I have done, the pigs won't be able to harass us anymore simply because of the color of our skin.

I have never been in Japan...so I hope you don't mind that I write here...
It's not from my head but one teacher said that when you're a tourist Japanese people act really nice and everything...but when you start to live here...they can be rude.

Whoa... didn't know Japan was so racist and open about it, and yet, not one tourist brochure or a travel magazine covered it in their article. Interesting.

Ummm... That is b/c it is not what it is being portrayed to be.

It is unfortunate that some people have learn't how to type and in this case who ever taught Reyter was one talented person. Maybe this chick had a hand in it?

I don't think that is the case. There are certainly some people who are very flagrant fascists (which you see if you follow the progress of this thread) but I think they are a small minority. The police on the other hand are an entirely different story..... They are "generally" angry, annoying, little fascist pigs and are very flagrant about it. Someone with real power has obviously seen there is a problem there and has done something about it. Some Japanese people posting here do their best to prevent foreigners knowing about these rights.

LOL,

Sorry for being totally off-topic but I want to tell Dave; you seem to have a great collection of great illustrated remarks! :D👍
