Let's say my sentence is "My goal is to pass the JLPT2".
Now, in Japanese, would it be:
[my] Goal (wa) pass JLPT2 (desu)
or
pass JLPT2 (wa) goal (desu)
or am I getting it completely wrong? I mean, the main idea is passing the JLPT2. I think it's the first one but I can't explain why.
