Anyone else having trouble with JREF being slow? For 2 hours now my hook-up to JREF is about 1/4 of the normal speed, SOOOOOOOO SLOW!!!
I was just wondering if it's my local Road Runner cable hook-up or is it on the Japan end we are having trouble.

Last time this happened.....

the JREF servers were under some kind of attack. My other websites are all OK, just JREF is bad? Between each screen , is a 30 second delay. Sure drives me crazy to have to wait sooooo long, LOL.

I am having the same trouble...thought perhaps it was a mac thing, but nope same with the pc. For me though it's anything online! It's all slow. I have Road Runner too.

A bit easier to bear when........................

I know others are shareing my pain. Hopefully the JREF GEEK SQUAD will fly into action and destroy the evil doers and restore our bandwidth to it's former glory!

It looks like the slowness is gone... for the moment.

Thank you O internet God!

Sure get spoiled by high speed, glad it's back to normal!

Yeah. It's fast again!

You sure do get used to it!
I went to my mum's place a couple of weeks ago and had to access internet through my cell phone over EDGE. About 115 kbit/s.
It made me nuts at first! 😌
I just wonder, how I kept my wits together in the time of the old modems.
56 kbit/s or (gasp!) even slower!
😌

In the time of modems, the internet was designed with the limitations of modems in mind.

It was when I had AOL and everyone else and their mother had DSL or cable that I lost my mind.

Still slow as it take more than 30 secs for a page to load. Sometimes it loads and the page says "done" but it is blank. Hitting "refresh" doesn't help either. Probably just temporary.

Been there! Done that! :p
Although I don't know what AOL is (Somekind of ISP?) but I was still using an old modem when everyone else had DSL:s.
Only when the phone bill started sky rocketing, was I able to convince my mom to get an ADSL connection!
I would have been fine, had I been using internet when it was still meant to be used with a 56 kbit/s modem!

That's what I was experiencing before but it works fine for me now! :?

America Online. Also known as: AOHell, gAyOL, America Offline, etc. Infamously bad ISP here in the States known for its slowness, tendency to disconnect, and very bloated interface.
