Most tolerant religion.....

What is noticable about thuis thread is that the theists belonging to one religion are saying that theirs is the most tolerant. Buddhists say that Buddhism is, Jews are saying Judasim is, etc. Certain bias is evident, but I suppose that is to be expected. No-one wants to really come out and say that their particular religion or denomination is violent and xenophobic.

Judaism not only doesn't beleive in proselatizing
it absolutely forbids both teaching it to non jews, and seeking new members.

Judaism absolutely does not forbid any such thing.

My sister teachers at Moriah College in Sydney which is a Jewish school, 40% non Jewish attend, including a large number of Japanese as the school itself has a superb educational reputation, coming in virtually every yera with the highest marks in the high school certificate.
Not far down the road in Ocean Ave. Sydney, you will find the Temple Of Emanuel which is a very liberal Synagogue with all services in English.

Go to a service their and you will notice a healthy lot are not Jewish, but interested.. Also popular for Jews marrying non Jews, and in turn wanting to convert, more than likely to keep the parents happy, possibly the grandparents who may have been part of Hitlers regime..

I don't know much about religion, and no offence here, but from what I have seen and heard, many Islamic countries appear to be a human rights disaster, with the women taking the brunt..

yeah but there is no proslytizing and for sure they do not teach any gemara, or talmud, or any deep learning in judaism. either that or they are really breaking the jewish code of law. it is probable that they are a liberalistic sect or just dont care...

Can you honestly say that "Indeed, I believe in the mixture of two almost unrelated forms of religion!"? Can you? Or are you perhaps creating yourself something interesting?
I can wake up one day and say "Hell, starting from today im following Norse paganism, because Valhalla's so ownage."
Besides, Wicca has little to do with religion and magic.
Its like Olympics... it claims to be the successor or the ancient Greek games, but they bear little resemblance.
Norse paganism on the other hand is different... not that Im a believer, but at least it has proven mythological and historical roots.

No, it is not.

Paganism became a broad word nowadays. You automaticly ask 'what branch of it are you following'? Isn't it enough saying I follow the old form of Paganism, a religion our forefathers followed, and you find it hard to believe. There is more to Paganism than meets the eye. Stop watching Hollywood movies on Witches

And yes... I follow Norse - centuries old, and Wiccan - created in 1950's by mixture of other religions. The whole point of Paganism is that there are no human rules. Nature writes its own rules, and we must follow them and respect them.
