Hi =)
The title was meant to kind of be ambiguous and have various meanings.
The basic story is:
A modern day High School boy accidentally gets pulled into the world of "x" one where there is a eternal conflict between two 2 groups/types of people- one whom are considered "evil" <-- magicians.. and those who claim to be the "good" <-- warriors who primarily use strength.
Yui (the main character) was born from leaders from either side. As expected they were not accepted, despite their status. The moment Yui was born, a drought was inflicted on their world. At the age of 7, Yui's parents were forced to their deaths and she was taken in by her mother's family side (the magicians)- however she was often discriminated and people wanted her dead.
Yui however, grew up as a powerful sorceresses/summoner, with unmatchable water mana. This created more conflict as people blamed her for the cause of the drought. She became indifferent and cold towards the people around her and cared less what happened to them.
Yui, now 17 years old encounters the Boy- and due to a series of events- they travel on a journey to search for the dispersed Elemental Stones- in hopes to restore equilibrium to their world (i.e it may remove the drought)
Ignorant and cold at first, she gradually builds trusts in her herself and others.
"Steal My Rain" refers to a few things:
-Since Yui's parent's death, she wasn't able to cry. Someone had "stolen" her tears. She couldn't believe her own ancestors would do this. This could also mean someone will take away her sorrows. (spoiler: the boy from the modern world is the water elemental stone they're searching for.. )
- People either wanted to kill Yui, or use her in a way because of her water abilities. (thus, her water mana is the "rain")
-It may also refer to the fact someone has stolen the rain from the world of 'x'-i.e the drought itself. The conflict has lead to many deaths and the story also reveals the personalities of the people and their way of life.
It would be nice to get a translation that kinda relates to themes mentioned (if possible)
Thanks in advance!
