well.. you could get as many guitarists as you want but it still wouldn't be like him. sure, you could learn to play his stuff, be charismatic, stylish and such but it wouldn't be him.
there was just something about him, and it can never be replicated.
oh hide having a son..
hide was never married, and never had any children, he is also quoted to have said in several interviews, that because his brother Hiroshi had a child (he in fact had 2) he felt no need to be a father

No. I agree. I think that's why they are getting 10... he is unreplacable and the others don't want to feel like they are even trying to. It's the best way they could have done it to be honest. It wouldn't have felt right if they gone one person.
