Great show. A little drawn out, but still good. Hiro is American! (At least I think so from an interview I saw with him a while back on Jay Leno). In the last episode Sulu (George Takei) from the original Star Trek made an appearence as Hiro's father. I was impressed at how good his Japanese was! But then again he is half Japanese after all!

It's funny... from watching the show, when they speak... I could tell that they were not Japanese or at least not first-generation Japanese... I consider that at least a little bit of a plus for my abilities in Japanese... fu fu........

It seems it brings a good reputation the serie, i like this serie because for the first time there is a serie without always only America or England or Europe or whatever, this is an american and a JAPANESE serie so that's why i'm addicted to this also, PS: Here in Belgium we are now at episode 8

ﾂ"Yaeko,ﾂ" love interest for Hiro is rumored to be portrayed by Riyo Mori (recently crowned Miss Universe 2007).

Maybe now it will air in Japan? I wonder if NBC is nervous about it's reception, with the accent issues and all. Ueto Aya would have been a great compliment to Hiro's personality, but that's just me.
