Some grades of the exams I did in December were published today.. I got a 6.5 for an extremely difficult course, and a 9.5 for one of my favorite courses!! (10 is max.) I'm extremely happy because grades with 0.5 will be rounded up when the final average grade is calculated!! I'm well on my way to a nice cum laude bachelor diploma.

Cool !! My marks are bad.... ook my lowest is 5.3 and my highest 8 (rounded up) But I got a test week next week and stil the exams ☝

Speaking of grades--oh, and congradulations there Leonmarino (and justin on the songs too !! [I know how hard that can be !!])
I have to be dishing them out in the near future....Oh boy, such a hassle here in Japan. Part of the grade is very often figured in simply by a student's being registered for the course, and the number of times attended/and or his or her ability to beg the teacher with puppy-eyed looks, or somewhat revealing blouses....(ok, this is not so often, but I have had it happen)
ANYWAY...before I go WAY off course....I'm happy for you folks there ! ( and dragonlady_e, keep on trying...fighting...doing your best, because effort is a big plus to help push an otherwise on-the-verge-of-falling to-a-lower-point-level grade, up to the next notch.

I received my evaluation from a couple of schools yesterday about how I am doing my work as an ALT (Assistant language teacher).
I got scores on: professional appearance, Observance of the rules, Teaching techniques, preparation, planning, enthusiasms, motivation, relationship with students, relationship with the other teachers, etc.
Most of my scores are 5's and 4's and I only received 2 3's, so I am pretty satisfied about it ( 5= Excellent, 4= Good, 4= average 2= Fair 1= Poor).

Alright Dutch Baka san !! Well done !! I do know how it can help in putting out more as time runs on. The teaching scene does get one down, through time, and the results of such evaluations--even though you know you're up there--really gets a person pumped up to keep on keeping on !! Keep it up dude !! We've gotta get more English speakers around town !! CONGRADULATIONS !! MM

Translate "sub" into American English please? Sub as in substitute teacher?
