Predicting Earthquakes

predicting earthquakes for japan

hello guys,
i wont be predicting earthquakes for japan for few months as i am busy in my research on other topics right now will start predicting earthquakes again from december 2006 onwards.mr yamada i only predict earthquakes around or over 6.0 on richter scale and not small quakes that occur every week.this year only 1 earthquake over mgnitude 6.0 has occured in japan till now in comparision to last year in which 10 earthquakes over magnitude 6.0 occured.
strong earthquake will start occuring from december 2006 onwards in japan and number of earthquakes will occur around or above mag 6.0 for few months there after.big quakes expected this and next year are in dec 2006 ,march 2007 and very powerfull in august 2007.
before that moderate earthquakes could occur in japan.

hello guys,
there could be an earthquake on 22 september 2006 in japan in south of honshu or eastern honshu.so take care.

predicting earthquake for japan

hello guys,
as you all know that i predicted an earthquake on 22 sep 2006 and now an earthquake has occured on 26 sep 2006 in south western honshu .as i stated above that i am doing research on other topics right so i couldnt get time to calculate magnitude of this earthquake but when i predict earthquake it will surely occur, though sometimes there could be 2 or 3 days gap.and be ready for a major one that will strike in december.
check this page-

rahul, that link doesnt work.
so for posterity; when in december and where?

predicting earthquakes for japan

hello guys,
an earthquake is likely to strike japan in south of honshu or kyushu of magnitude between 5.2 to 6.2 on 15 or 19 october 2006 on either of these dates.so take care.

are you predicting the one that happened yesterday, wednesday oct. 11 at 9:58am local time?

anyway your other post said december not october, i wanna hear about the december one.

What is OP's objective,he can unscientifically predict earthquakes in Japan ?

If he's got real tools, wouldn't he be working in seismological field !

i think he predicts them psychicly, and he wants us to judge how well he's doing at it?

Hey, the house just rocked with an earthquake! (Tokyo area)
"Shindo 4" says the radio report. It must be something around magnitude of 5? (I can never figure out how "shindo" and magnitude correlate with each other, no matter how many times I read about it and think I understand for a few minutes....😌 )

How often do you feel earthquakes in Tokyo area through out the year ?

I live near 2 major fault-lines ( San Andreas and Hayward ),we get no more than 4 minor ones in any particular year.

yeah but isnt there alot out there that you dont normally feel, i remember watching the news in so. cal. theyd have earthquake counts and there were often 10s a day all over the area nearly all under 4.0

This webpage might be interesting for some. :)
åœ°éœ‡æƒ…å ±ï¼šæœæ—¥æ–°èžãƒ‡ã'¸ã'¿ãƒ«

It shows latest info on earthquakes,is updated everytime Japan Meteorological Agency breaks the news.
It's in Japanese, but not too difficult to follow.

ツ湘ョ窶「テア窶敖ュ窶「\窶愿コナスナセ date and time the information was made to public
窶敖ュツ青カナスナセツ債 time of occurance of the earthquake
ツ震ナ陳ケ窶冢 epicenter
ツ催??佚・ツ震窶忸 max grade (shindo) measured.
*Shindo varies depending on the place where it is measured, it shows how much people "feel" it while magnitude is the scale of the earthquake itself.

If you click ツ湘ョ窶「テア窶敖ュ窶「\窶愿コナスナセ, you'll see more details with maps. (numbers scattered on the map means "shindo" of the point.)
Magnitude of the earthquake is shown at the very botton ツ(ニ筑ニ丹ニ男ニ蛋ニ停?ヲツーニ檀ツ).

Here's another website of earthquake information.
http://www.tenki.jp/qua/index.html
It alaways shows the latest one, and you can see those in the past by choosing time/date from the pulldown menu on the right.

It is amazing (and a bit frightening) to see we have soooo many of them in Japan....
😌

predicting earthquakes for japan

predicting earthquakes for japan

hello guys,
i am back again and my next prediction is-

A STRONG EARTHQUAKE IS LIKELY TO STRIKE JAPAN IN SOUTH-WESTERN HONSHU OR NORTH-EASTERN HONSHU ON 7 OR 13 OR 17 DECEMBER 2006 ON EITHER OF THESE DATES AND NOT BETWEEN THIS PERIOD(PLUS\MINUS 1 DAY) OF MAGNITUDE 6.2 TO 7.5 ON RICHTER SCALE.

so take precautions and be carefull on these dates.please also check map and other details of this quake on my website-

predicting earthquakes for japan

hello guys,
i apologies for my last major failure.i dont mean to scare anybody but just to alarm people.now i am giving my next prediction-

an earthquake is likely to strike japan in eastern honshu or south-western honshu on 28 dec 2006 or 3 or 5 jan 2007 on either of these dates of magnitude 5.7 to 6.5 on richter scale.

No need to apologized,no human can accurately predict earthquake as it's act of god ( natural disaster ).

I just saw a program on National Geographic channel about the moon
and tides. This one geologist had some theories about the moon affecting
not only tides but also possibly earthquake fault lines. Albiet controversial.

In this program they said some Peruvians said when there was an eclipse
they would get ready for an earthquake soon after. So who knows? Hasn't there always been superstitions about eclipses being a curse from the gods and causing great destruction or something?

Any one else ever hear about the moon's pull on fault lines?
Any geologists in the house?
