There are plenty of Nikkei Brazillians around due to return migration to the grandfather country. Yutaka Shaun Ono Wada is an excellent Capoeria practitioner. And they speak fluent Portugese, so your command of the Japanese language is not at all necessary with them. In fact, most of them have less of a command of Japanese than even I do as a Canadian!
