Nervous first hand-holding
Find a place where you can sit next to her, like in a coffee shop or at a park. Start a conversation. Talk for a couple of minutes. Say something about when you were happy or excited, then take her hand as if it is a reaction to what you said. Hold her hand softly and do not squeeze it. Hold her hand for a while but not too long. Later, when you walk out the door, take her hand again.
When you walk her home, give her a hug when you say goodbye, but don't kiss her. (The effect of a simple hug is HUGE.) The third time you walk her home, hug her, lift her slightly off the ground, and spin her in a single 360.
These gentle physical contacts mean more than anything you can say.
Do all of this several times before saying anything about officially dating. To do otherwise is a mistake.
If you ever have a chance, watch Michael Jackson's video Thriller, watch how he asks the girl to be his girl way too early, and how it doesn't go well. (See if you can spot all the reasons it doesn't go well.)
