WW2 Gunto Kanji Surrender Tag Translation

This gunto was passed down to me by my grandfather. I would like to find out what the surrender tag reads, and hopefully track down the family of this soldier with hopes of reuniting them with this piece of their history. Everyone I've asked tells me it's an older language they're not familiar with. Can someone please help me translate this surrender tag the best they can. I can provide more pictures if needed. Any other info on this gunto would be greatly appreciated. Love to know item's and relic's histories. Please and thank you everyone 🙏
