JLPT N3 underrepresented practice test type questions

You appear to live in Japan which is a huge and i mean HUGE advantage. N3 is really just daily conversational. There are plenty of good books to help you for the test at Kinokuniya or amazon if you get those and do the drills you will pass. If you go outside and talk to people even watch dramas (which have daily conversation) that can also help your comprehension. BTW I am talking about physical books not websites, the physical books are your best test prep IMHO and they do include CDs for listening comprehension test. Also stepping outside. IMHO if you live in Japan N3 is an easy one (based on experience).

After you hear my wife confusing mess of Japanese (supposedly native) like ない、お水, 閉めて、フラフィ：ねこのなまえ You wouldnt say that. I never hear much that is in JLPT.

Well like he said, there are several books and practice tests. So buy a couple and work through them.

They are available at Kinokunia and amazon.jp they are specific for the test, all aspects of the test. N3 is not hard IMHO. N2 gets a lot harder. It's N2 you want if you want to squeeze into some jobs that use Japanese.
I too am married to a Japanese and was in Japan. That is a huge advantage IMHO. I easily passed the N3 with those same advantages.
