Yes, I am a researcher at the Powerhouse Museum that is assisting Asian curatorial in adding to the catalogue description of these items. So yes, academic. We are not looking to sell these items but thank you for your enquiry. If you have any information about any of our items or can refer us to an appropriate museum that would be very much appreciated.

Translation of jacket - Plant Wood Shop (Plant seller). His jacket is fully lined. The jacket has used the resist dye technique - writing and lines painted with sticky rice, dyed, then washed off. Assume head is ceramic with brown inset eyes, eyebrows, frown, and mouth slightly ajar. Has very long fingers. This is where I am at. Waiting for replies from museums.
