well it's a long story...i read an a forum from my country,that someone from Live Journal saw Imai with he's wife and "she is small like the doll, and very very lovely." and about that fuji maki ones..oh well maybe the person who wrote that artical was drunk or something ..also in the 95's there were some rumours about Imai and Atsushi,because "love letter" sounds like a marriage proposal,also as far as i kow Atsushi remarried in 2004 with a woman :haihai:

I love Acchan, he's the best singer in japan IMO.

I was reading some of the older posts and I beleive I can answer some of your questions.
Acchan is married to a woman, he remarried in 2004:(.
Imai is also married, in 2008
For the record, Hide is married as well, in 2006.
The Higuchi brothers are the only unmarried ones.
Acchan and Imai were never married, in a interview in 1995, they joked that they had gotten married and were on their honeymoon.

Hell, for the longest time, I though that Acchan had cheated on his first wife with Imai!

Just to let everyone know jrrpwiki is J-Rock Role Play wiki. So it's just roleplay.
 
I have the album for Schwein; It's pretty damn good. I like 'Slip', 'Lard, Lips, Liquor' and 'Porno'. I listen to PIG aka Raymond Watts so that is how I first heard about BT waaaaay back then even before they collaborated on Schwein. Raymond did the song 'Yellow Pig' on Sakurai's solo project. Those two are actually pretty damn good friends! In the interviews I have read (with Raymond) he has nothing but admiration and an interesting 'bromance' thing apparently between them. BTW, i don't like the word 'bromance' but i guess it works here, sorry, lol! Also, have you noticed that Sakurai frequently wears a Pig/hog ring on his middle finger...that ring was given to him by Raymond and Raymond himself has that exact same ring. So yeah they are pretty close which is cool, to me, bc i like them boht :)
 
So Acchan wears a ring that Raymond gave him. Sounds like thare a bit more to the story there. Or maybe I just want there to be more there! :D

BTW, did anyone get the Picture book? It cost me $90 but it was well worth it! I'm getting the DVD next month, I wish December would hurry up and get here!

About the picture book, it's 160 pages 128 color, 32 black and white. CDJapan says it's out of print but HMV japan still has it.

What's this about a "love Me" fan project?
 
I was considering getting the Picture book and now I am regretting not having done so :.(
I am, however, going to order the Memento Mori DVD Lmx Ed. I know it costs more but I love seeing them interact backstage; it adds a whole new layer to BT and of course Sakurai! As for Raymond, during Schwein i read (someone posted this so it's a very unrealiable source) that during the concert Raymond and Sakurai kissed. Apparently they were both rather wasted, lmao! True or not, what does seem fact is that those two get along quite well :) I read they meet when BT went to London to record 'Aku no Hana'. As for Sakurai's english i'm sure he know's enough and Raymond most likely knows Japanese as well since his manager (Yoshi -----) is Japanese.
To a-addicted, I think that is the pig ring Sakurai is wearing. Im at work so I can't pull up a 'bigger' picture to get a better look....Sakurai's pic isn't 'PG' enough which is just fine with me! :)

The ring is rather blurry in the pic I am using but if you youtube 'Romance' at 1:15 (and throughout the vid) you can get a good look at the pig ring. He also wears it in "You're My Disease", "Alice in Wonder Underground" (at 1:52 look for a lil snout), "Sacrifice" (at 1:18; he must have changed out rings during takes bc at 1:32 he wears a different ring) and the pig ring citing list goes on :D

Btw, did he really say that he doesn't feel like he has friends when he was younger? I know the other BT members say he is secretive but they also say he is very nice. Maybe he just likes his privacy?

Known as the vocalist of Buck-Tick, Atsushi Sakurai solo career began in 2004 ..

Atsushi Sakurai was born on 03/07/1966 in Japan in Fujioka, Gunma Prefecture. Together with his older brother grew up in a dysfunctional family - his father had been drinking and was aggressive. Atsushi at school was considered an adventurer, a rebel and a recluse. He lived without any major plans for the future and spend time with his younger colleagues.

Some time later he was invited by Hisashi, his companion from the class that joined the band which was the beginning of the group Buck-Tick. The band's name sounded Hinan a Go Go, where he held roles Atsushi drummer. Then, also moved into the house Toll'a, but then began to grow in him the desire to become a singer. Although opposed to the Toll ago, Atsushi realized his dream of becoming a singer in 1983, Buck-Tick.

After this has completed his studies and received a diploma from Takasaki High School in March 1984, was transferred to Tokyo, where he worked for a time as a car salesman. Has also tried his hand at a variety of small compositions but he was not pleased with them.
Father of Atsushi slowly drank himself to death (he died when Atsushi had 19 years in 1985.) Atsushiego as inclined to devote himself to music what his mother did not disappoint.

In 1991, he married stylist Sakurai syndrome (marriage ended in divorce years later, despite the birth of their child. Probable cause divorces Atsushi was the reason.). In the same year, his mother suddenly died. Due to the popularity of Buck-Tick at the time, Atsushi could only take place with her last phone conversation - in 2002, expressed his sadness in the text of the song "Long Distance Call."

In addition to the band Buck-Tick, Sakurai guest appearances on songs Der Zibet, Issay, Pig and Masami Tsuchiyi. In 1992, developed jointly with Xymox song "YOKANA" to "Dance 2 Noise compilation." This song was later a przeredagowywana version on his solo album.

In 2001 he sang with the band Schwein. The project created with his teammate Hisashi Imai, an Englishman, Raymond Watts (Pig) and German Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM). Released first album "Schweinstein" in May, followed by a remix album, "Son Schweinstein" autumn.

His solo career lasted for 2004 years, during which Buck-Tick had a break and most of the team members focused on their own projects. His first single "Sacrifice" was released in May. The album titled "Ai no wakusei" ("Planet of love", according to Sakurai there are positive emotions as well as negative, and the fact that it is still part of every person, no matter how different people can be) released on 23 June. The texts are written entirely by him, talk about love, dreams and longing as well as violence, sex and bewilderment. Music was created by various artists, from well-known as Raymond Watts, and Masami Tsuchiya, but also the Cube Juice, Taiji Sato and Wayne Hussey (The Mission UK), resulted in a very original music.

In the spring, Atsushi released the single "Taiji / SMELL" and gave solo concerts in Tokyo, while a cover of the song "Space Oddity," written by his idol David Bowie. Then there was the short film "Longinus" by Ryuhi Kitamura (premiere - 25.VIII.2004) Atsushi where he tested his acting talent. Concert DVD-Explosion-Ai no wakusei "was released in December.

In addition, in June 2004 for the second time Atsushi marries – by. His chosen rumors of his heart was probably Saori Yoshida, a very nice ex-manager Fish Tank - the official fan club of Buck-Tick.


The last sign of his solo career is "Wakusei-Rebirth-" single, released Spring 2005 . Sakurai then focused on the Buck-Tick.

I know this thread is like 16 years old but this is so cool!! I recently just got into B-T and I don't have anybody to talk about them since I am currently obsessed with them. I only started listening to B-T a month ago and I have been listening to them non-stop. Taboo and Kurutta Taiyou are my favourite albums so far. I wish there are more people my age who listens to them
