I'm not sure if there's already a section for this wonderful band or not but if there is I can't find it so nyah. Either way, not enough people talk about Buck-Tick (honestly! Have you tried to find info on them on the net?? It's a NIGHTMARE! Their Wikipedia is pathetic and there's only 7 pages for them on YouTube :cautious:) so it can't hurt.
I have recently become OBSESSED with Buck-Tick. I own their album "Juusan-kai wa Gekkou" and have been OCD-ishly looking for more of their music on the web. I like their more recent stuff best (from about late 90s and up) but I will say that the song "Dress" from their early days is FANTASTIC.
Sakurai Atsushi is giving Hyde a damn good run for his money for my number 1 spot on my Bishounen list. And anyone who knows me knows how big a deal THAT is. His voice is amazing, he has perfect pitch Live and I would even go so far as to say he's BETTER Live then on recordings. And besides that the man is friggin gorgeous. But let's not forget the other band members! :) Yeah, I really hate it when all people talk about is a group's lead singer so I'm gonna TRY not to do that (key word here being "try"). Toll's hair kinda scares me but I'm getting used to it, I'm still having trouble shaking the thought of "AGH!! WHAT CRAWLED ONTO YOUR HEAD AND DIED?!?!?!" every time I see him though. Hidehiko and Hisashi have impressed me as guitarists, I always love the dual guitar sound in a band. And Yutaka I don't know too much about, gomen!! Anyway, they're all fantastic Live and I love them all. 😄
OH! And I must add that my all-time favorite Buck-Tick PV is "Romance" it was that song and that PV that won me over to them. I owe it so much!

Thanks for the run-down! 👍
Buck-Tick are one of the (admittedly long list of) bands that I haven't listened to and keep thinking "I really ought to listen to them!"
So unfortunately, I haven't heard them yet. :sorry: 🙇‍♂️
I need to do something about that. :(

Yes, you must hear them. They are fantastic. But be wary 'cause hearing the "wrong song" first can make you hate them. That's what happened to me...that is until I heard/saw "Romance"

HAHHAHA yea yea yea!!! that song is beautiful and the pv is sexy =) hahaha the first song i heard of theirs was "my ****** valentine" it was one of those... "ugh what" at first... but i laughed at the song caz it was so... different and interesting, but always in the back of my head, believed that i wouldnt have liked it... until i found myself humming it here and there.. and realized.. "ahhh.. all too familiar of a feelin... i think i found myself a new band"

To Kaine: I LOVE "My F**kin' Valentine"!! I heard it for the first time just this morning. I saw the Live of it from Sweet Strange. Luffles it.

To Pjusk: Anything off of "Juusan-kai wa Gekkou." Try "Romance" or "Muma - The Nightmare" or "Ijin Yoru" if you can find it (it's hard to find for some reason).

I'm listening to it right now. You just HAVE to move to this song.

Yeah, I don't like their early stuff, I think it can be a bit poppish and techno-ish (and I don't mean good techno either). But as I said before from about '97 and up they are brilliant.
Their new stuff is the BEST!!! Buy "Juusan-kai wa Gekkou" you won't regret it, I promise! :)

It is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. It's like a demented circus meets Gothism and Vampirism. I love it!

I like their music from the 80's! 😍

Buck Tick from the 80's= catchy sex, I got like stuck on atleast 6 songs from that era for the longest ******* time.

Yeah, most of their stuff from the 80s isn't my cup of tea (except "Dress" I LOVE that song) but I have nothing against it. It's just not my thing.

I know, it's really funny knowing that these people are the people that got Kyo into rock, and other such well known jrockers. 👍 😊

Hihi, I had Plastic Syndrome playing in my head for so long! I know it's damn 80's ish but i really like it.
After what I heard now I'm really dying to hear Romance, and I really should look them up on Youtube. I've seen some pics from live performances, it looks pretty special.

They are pretty special Live. Matter of fact I put their "13th Floor with Moonshine" (I least I think that's right, I get "Moonshine" and "Diana" mixed up all the time, I can never remember which title goes with what) performance of "Muma - The Nightmare" on the same level as the purest of spiritual experiences.

I LOVE "Muma - The Nightmare" Live. I think it's one of the most moving things I've ever seen. I don't know why but I just connect with it.
