This is just out before next week's general election. Not an official pamphlet, of course, but distributed among their lawmakers.

A pamphlet that recently made the rounds of lawmakers belonging to the ruling Liberal Democratic Party described sexual minorities as suffering from an "acquired psychological disorder" that is just as addictive as gambling. [...] The pamphlet, which ran to 90 pages or so, contained excerpts of speeches given by university professors and others about same-sex marriages or allowing married couples to choose separate surnames. The speechs were made during study sessions organized by Shinto Seiji Renmei. It states that homosexuality is not an inherent condition but an acquired one that, similar to gambling addiction, can be kicked if a person has a strong enough desire to do so.

Needless to say, allowing married couples to choose separate surnames, is of the devil's doing, too. 🤦‍♂️

Sounds like the US back in the 50's & 60's. I remember at age 7 my dad was friends with many of the local police. Word got out that there was to be a gathering of gay men at a local truck stop. My good ol dad took me to watch the police raid the place. The police beat the crap out of the men and took them all to jail. My dad said "let this be a lesson for you" . He hated blacks even worse. The type of dad who made Archie Bunker look open minded. Things here in the US seem a bit better than back than .

But that's where the Make American Great Again people want to return to.
