Japanese name Inscribed on Wooden Object

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the Japanese name inscribed on the bottom of a wooden object I brought from a charity shop, I have attached a photo.

Probably it's the artist's name. (There seems to be several artists of the same given name, e.g., 竹腰亮次 Takekoshi Ryōji or 西川亮次 Nishikawa Ryōji.)
