I'm sorry,, that's song from radio ripp version,, so maybe little bad quality but the song can to hear^^
 
I always tought I was born to late and thus missed my chance to see X Japan play live. It was hard to accept but I got over it..but now I see this ! I absolutely agree with everyone; they haven't changed a bit ! I notice they will give a concert in Tokyo somewhere in spring 2008 ? Has anyone already figured out a date yet ? I'll be in Japan between March 21st and April 15th so if they perform when im there, im ABSOLUTELY going to attend their show.

I knew they had the reunion but didn't expect too much of it, but this song I.V. is absolutely a typical X Japan masterpiece with these great sweet vocals of Toshi and the great background drums of Yoshiki (He hasn't changed a bit has he !!??) and outstanding guitar play. I found out they used recorded guitar instrumentals of Hide for this new song I.V.

Give them some time to get used to the fans again, and in no time they will be rocking the stage as they used to with their fancy costumes and wild hairs !

So if they give the concert during my stay, then im one lucky son of a b*tch. If they don't, I stick to my first plan; buying most of X Japan's albums and by that time maybe also their first comeback album !

X JAPAN IS BACK !
 
Has someone stumbled on a high quality version of I.V. in the meantime ?

Any news of a new album ? or any concerts ?
 
There's gonna be a concert in japan sometime next year, and the song will be on the Saw IV dvd, but that's all
 
It's clear X have already fully recorded the song, so it is to be expected that single is to be released pretty soon. I'm very looking forward to it xD
 
Any news on the release date? They seem to be taking their time about it! Before they know it Saw IV will be released and everyone will be buying that just for the song!

I'm really hoping that they are going to release I.V. and Without You together on a maxi single with pv's for both songs

Toshi has already recorded vocals for Without You so they should release it :D
 
I agree about Without You, it should be the B-side. I really want to hear that with vocals.

I don't know the release date for Saw IV either I'm afraid... it should be on HMV or some other site though... Amazon perhaps, they usualy have things up with release dates in advance!
 
so...I read in the newest anime insider magazine that X is releasing a new album sometime this year!!!

I dont really know if AI Magazine is that reliable...but man I freaking hope it's true! :D
 
O.O a new album!! That would be amazing! I'm excited enough about the release of I.V... when ever they get round to doing that!
 
That would be insane! But then again I'd be bracing myself for disappointment. I know thats really negative and I'm not usually like this but you know what I mean right?

EDIT: the Saw IV dvd will be released on the 22nd of this month 👍
 
They have to release I.V soon... or there will be too many rips from Saw IV DVD.

I know what you mean about the album... theres no point in getting over excited about something that's only a rumor. Wonder if I asked Yoshiki he'd tell me.
 
This topic seems to have died so I'll post the latest X-Japan news in an attempt to resurrect it.

At first scheduled for release on January 25th, X Japan's new DVDs, X JAPAN RETURNS, have been postponed until February 29th. Though all titled similarly, three different DVDs will be available. X JAPAN RETURNS 1993.12.30 and X JAPAN RETURNS 1993.12.31 will each contain footage from those concerts on three discs each. However, a complete edition will also be available and will contain both concerts for a total of six discs. In addition, X JAPAN Returns Complete Edition DVD Box will include a bonus disc featuring unreleased live footage and the new PV, I.V..

YOSHIKI and the other members of X JAPAN will be holding a press conference in Japan on the 20th to make their official statement regarding X JAPAN's upcoming schedule.

There's a number of different reports going around right now from both official and unofficial sources. Multiple Japanese mainstream news sources have reported X JAPAN's return to the stage this March 28 & 30---two days at Tokyo Dome, which seats 50,000---and further information regarding the expected schedule of the band, such as their plans for memorializing HIDE.

We turn to the band members themselves for the most definite information, and therefore encourage everyone to wait until X JAPAN has made their official announcement to the press.

We will update you on the report from the press conference as soon as possible. We know everyone's excited, but we only want to report on what the band members themselves say at this time.

In just a couple days, we'll be able to post the most 100% definite information possible about X JAPAN's plans. So please hang in there, and try not to encourage rumors. We also encourage you to pass around the information that the band is making a statement on the 20th, so that X JAPAN and Jrock fans all over the world will be ready for that moment.

I know that's not confirmed yet, but if it will be, I'm ABSOLUTELY going to buy myself tickets and see it !!!! I'll be in Tokyo from March 20 till April 15 👍

Ahhh I so wish I could be there! :(

I love the "any one over 3 years old will be required to have a purchased ticket" part... imagine being able to say you saw Xjapan before you could even speak!!
 
I do hope that they will perform older songs again, and not only new ones for the upcoming album. I have this feeling that they may not do so, because of HIDE passing away..
 
I'm sure they'll play the classics... people don't know the songs off the album... no ones ever heard it. I don't think they could do a concert with the majority of songs ones fans haven't heard, or had much time to get to know.

The thing I'm wondering about is the opening. I was playing Amethyst on the piano today and it made me think. You know how they always have the voice over saying on guitar ... on bass... on drums... etc etc ... what are they going to do for that? If anythings going to hurt it'll be not hearding "on guitar hide" ... it would also be weird because he's technically on I.V ... so I'm wondering if they'll anounce him any ways... I hope this makes sense... it's just a thought.
 
Yeah it definetly makes sense. No doubt that in some way they will make a tribute to hide during the concerts. The question is how..

I'm also wondering if they will use the wigs and makeup from the good old days, or maybe just casual as they were with the PV recording of I.V.
