X-Japan

Pata and a few guys from Spread Beaver went on to make Dope Headz a while back. Heath has had his own solo stuff for some time. I forget the name, but I saw him live once with it, and it was pretty boss.

Actually, it was both Pata and Heath that were in Dope Headz... The project has ended though.

Last i heard was that Pata was in a band called Ra:in. The name stands for Rock and Inspiration. Link: Loading...

Heath is now in a band called... Heath (no really!). It's a fourpiece band and Heath is (naturally) the bassist of that band.

Toshi is still in that sect. There was a story going round last year that he was being accused of child abuse. Never heard the end of that though.

You know, I wondered if Heath was in Dope Headz. I just remember Pata and I.N.A. being in it.

I found out from my Japanese penpal that what happened was Toshi owned (or was the manager - she was unclear on that part) of some sort of daycare/orphange. One of his employees was abusing a little boy but somehow, Toshi got blamed for it. The charges against him were dropped, so she said.

Poor man needs to leave the cult.

Apparently Yoshiki's been selling X Japan and hide songs to some sort of European bands, who are severely butchering said songs. That's what I've heard, anyway. I heard their version of "Endless Rain" and wanted to shoot myself.

WHAT???!!!???
Is it possible if you could send me the file of their Endless Rain?
If he wants to ruin his songs, go ahead, but dont touch hide's one as well!

I'll upload it to yousendit.com later and post the link here for anyone who wants it. =) I'll also try to get the list of songs Yoshiki apparently sold to them.

Ok, Eurpean bands playing X songs... that just sound awful!!!! 😲 :angryfire

...I dunno if it is Yoshiki doing this...Last I heard Yoshiki has joined Globe on Keyboard/piano and is still running his two record labels...Thats all I kno up to now...

I've heard Silent Jealousy being done by a Scandinavian rockband a few years back. Wasn't very good. And then there's those horrible trance-remixes of X-Japan songs...

Yoshiki is friends with Globe's TK!! So of course he would join up with them!! i dont see why a real fan would have a problem with it. Yoshiki can do what he wants if you ask me... 👍

Erm, I don't think that Rose is Yoshiki's son...But I couldn't tell you for sure! :sorry:

hehehe...thanks for enlightening me! Now I know, as I have seen a t-shirt saying Spread Beaver, and saw the name a couple of times, and now I know for sure that it was a band....

Still, isn't a weird (and funny) name.....?? Do you think that Hyde knew that "beaver" can mean something else too??? :D

That might have been the meaning he was going for...^^; Yeh we do find some funny names in Jrock, dont we? :D

I've been a fan of XJAPAN for 3 years now and I really like most of their songs and everything, although I wouldn't call myself a fanatic of xjapan.
as you probably know.they disbanded in 1997 ,in the year of 1998,the guitarist Matsumoto hide Hideto died under weird circumstances and not a long ago I heard about Toshi being involved in some weird cult called Masaya and he was even jailed.So..what i wanted to say is that..while i was talking to a japanese guy about xjapan,he said "please change the topic" and i felt like xjapan did something bad to him or something i was pretty confused so...since I usually like talking about xjapan and jrock he stopped chatting with me although we chatted for about a year.
does xjapan or band members have so bad reputation in japan or what?
i'd like the japanese to answer me this question.
when i was in japan, i heard some news on toshi from xjapan and people around me were like "oh how weird and crazy he is".
Yoshiki is pretty popular in Japan i guess but..seems toshi ruined the reputation of xjapan..from what i hear from the japanese.-

thanks for reading.

x probably didn't do anything wrong to him, but after hide dide, some fans killed themselves, perhaps omeone he knew did it s well?

No, they killed themselves because he was dead. Not for him.

As for their reputation... probably all Toshi's fault. He is freakay now. Cultist who sings for his leader. Whooooo.
