Hmmm that was a special band called 'Muteki Band', that band just played in 92's Extasy Summit (3 of them, more or less) and they played 'X' because that happened when Taiji left the band, and X didn't have bass player, so, X wasn't able to play in their own Extasy Summit shows, and other band members made them a "tribute" playing that song hahaha.

This are all of the musicians... and X members, but you already know them, so, I don't mention them:

Drums: Shinya (Luna sea)
Bass: AMI (Tokyo Yankees) & George (Ladies Room)
Guitars: Sugizo (Luna sea) Nori (Tokyo Yankees) Ken (Zi:kill)
Vocal: Umemura (Tokyo Yankees)

My favorite songs are:
Stop Bloody rain
Lady in tears
Rose of Pain

If you haven't heard one of those songs(or haven't heard it live) put the mouse cursor on the name of it and surprise!! 👍 by the way, check out the ending of stop bloody rain, it will sound very familiar, hahaha.

And videos?? many of them are quite good, like the Last Live video or X with Orchestra... but I prefer a bootleg from 1986.11.16, when Taiji made his 1st gig with X, it's a complete riot!!! just awesome.

The videos you uploaded were awesome...especially 1986.10.25, I can see that the quality is really top-notch, taking into consideration that it's from the 80s!!
Just a question, just wondering what's the total length of the rehearsal of 1996.01.06?

Yeah, in fact, I have another "version" of that video (86.10.25) taken from the crowd, but it doesn't have the same good quality as that tape... and also, somebody was selling that gig on DVD, but I still haven't checked it.

And the 96.02.06 rehearsal lenght is more than an hour, they play songs as celebration, X, orgasm, joker, say anything, endless rain etc... as I said, it's like a mini concert, but without the annoying fangirls screaming "yoshikiiiii" in every song, hahaha.

Wow the video taken from the crowd is being sold on DVD? O_O; Amazing how they managed to sneak in the camera in the first place haha...

Ic....the reason I asked was because i heard from my friend saying that there's a part 1 of the rehearsal floating around the net, and there were rumours that there's a part 2. But I'm sure you have the entire thing xD

That's strange, my brother lived there until november, and he told me that there were many japanese stores that carried out X/X Japan stuff among many other bands... he used to hang out in Dusseldorf, Berlin and Leverkusen =/

A 1989 secret gig (1989.09.28 Osaka AM Hall) where X members exchanged instruments to play 20th Century Boy, of course hide is singing!! and yoshiki isn't playing guitar, he's just bluffing and jumping on stage...

It's a really cool line-up, with Toshi at drums etc. :)
Anyway, I think I've heard of a pro-shot version of that video,
but I haven't got my hands on it yet...
I wish we'll see shows like that one released on dvd in the future!

There may be alot of stores in germany that sell X-Japan, there's no doubt.. it's just I wasn't in that area T_____T
