I'm hoping someone can help me with interpreting the writings on this WW2 sake cup. Not exactly sure what it represents but it appears to be navy aviation.
Many thanks!!!
Welcome to the forum. Would you be so kind as to post in English? Also, if this is a private message, please get in touch with the user in private (DM). Thank you.
Hmm, are you sure? --a variant was the A5M (or A5M4), which seems a lot like the sake cup drawing. It has a 3-bladed prop, and in outline it seems really close.
Also, I would give some 'artistic license' to the artist who painted the sake cup, They were not trying for an exact reproduction, but instead looking for it to convey feeling. (adding the wires from mid-wing to fuselage besides also getting the prop wrong)
