Sake: chilled or warm?

Note to NZueda -- went to a bar yesterday with some friends and had a "ume martini" (I don't know what it's called in Japan). It was cold shochu with an umeboshi in the glass. It was delicious! Learn something new everyday ...

Where should i store an opened bottle of sake, in the fridge?
And how long does it stay ok and drinkable?
Im new to sake too, and i've never tasted it...i have these urges though, to taste it, but haven't...yet ;)
We're just making sushi here, and were wondering about sake..

Definitely in the fridge; it should stay drinkable for months, but the quality will slowly go down as it oxidizes. I'd say drink it within a month.
