Hello! Could I was wondering if anyone here could authenticate and please translate this WW2 Japanese Flag? I'm curious to see what the writing says, and I also wonder if the flags recipient is listed.
The phrase 祝武運長久 (good luck in battle) is written in a couple of places on the flag. It is a very common phrase seen on flags like this. Also 祝出征 (congratulations on deployment) is written in a couple of places. 虎 (tiger) is written in a couple of corners. Most of the rest are names. Looks OK to me, but unfortunately I can't find the name of the recipient, which a lot of collectors like to see on the flag.
