Armband came in today, how much glow on the black light test should I be keeping an eye out for? It's a thicker cotton than my flag, very stiff. Placed next to a personal flag and modern swim trunks for comparison. It has a stamping on the inside which I'm unsure if it's a temple stand or military inventory stamp? Looks like some char marks in a couple spots, possibly from a previous burn test? TYIA 🙌

Penmanship is poor. Also I don't think Japanese people would write kamikaze on an armband like this.

No such thing as a "kamikaze" armband, I'm afraid.
The spelling of one of the characters is slightly wrong. I think this must be an item that was fabricated post-WW2.
