Wow - Something Great Happened To Me Today !!!!

Something great happened to me!
I am now homeless :D I feel fantastic (no, really I do). It was such a horrible place to live, and when the old battleax woke me this morning at 7am demanding all this money for god knows what (do I have to pay $10 for every cockroach???) seeing as I didnt have a bed, all my stuff got mouldy, there was no shower blah blah blah I think you have all heard it before!
Anyway, so I packed up all my stuff, left with an overnight bag, and will only go back tomorrow to get the rest of my stuff when she isnt there. Oh I feel like the biggest weight is off my shoulders, and I dont know why...most people would worry about where they are going to live. Im going to camp out at the beach, and store my stuff in my friends parents garage.
Imagine... marshmellows and Digestive biscuits mmmmm and a nice cold beer as the sun goes down!
Only downer is that the cockroaches will be replaced with mosquitoes. Hahha, and its raining today, so Im not too sure what to do about tonight :D
But still I bear a big smile!

P.S I just read through and realised that it looks like I was running away without paying the money, but no I did pay. How could I avoid it??? Even my friend said that it was an exorbatant amount to pay for such squalor. Especially when the squalor was only being lived in because it was supposedly FREE.

I'm glad to hear that you feel better but be very careful camping out at the beach, Kara.
I hope you have someone to be with and protect you in case some jerks come up to you.

Void, those are nice close up shots. Seems like you're enjoying your Power Shot. What is the first picture you posted? Looks like a fossile.
 
Thanks Misa! Well I survived on the beach for four days, and after I got really badly sunburnt, I decided that enough was enough... also I was having the aunties and uncles coming upto me and chatting, good thing was that they gave me beer and chicken for free... but what else can I talk about to people who sell beer and chicken? Anyway I thouroughly enjoyed the experience. Now I am living in a student accomodation place, its teensy tiny, but its my own space! I have a TV and a Fridge in my room, and the owner gave me a little welcome present, they are very lovely. However I think that I will need to spend some time scrubbing, I think I live with about 30 guys and no other females....

Tsuyoiko, Iris gets cuter and cuter with every picture! More, more,more! Especially now that you have a digital camera!
Can you send Eric to me??? I want a pet spider, and he looks awfully cute!
I havent seen any BIG spiders here yet, but when I do, I will keep it as a pet. People here freak out on spiders you can hardly see!

Thanks Kara! I will definitely put more pictures up, and some of my hamster too. Eric is a gorgeous spider, ne? I have a pet house spider too that lives in my living room window. I just dust round him as I haven't the heart to disturb his cosy web.
 
I know I said somewhere that I dont like rodents, but my friend has a hamster, and ohhh it really was cute. I didnt want to touch it at first, but then, I held it, and never wanted to let him go! Only the poor little blighter didnt have a name!
Im contemplating getting one to keep me company in my little room. They dont smell, I thought that they would.
Pet house spiders are great, I had one once, and then I moved, and he had disappeared out of his little home that I had made for him. Then... when unpacking there he was! My new flatmates didnt much like him though... but they got a laugh out of me chasing flies around the house for his dinner.

Thanks! =) i don`t know what it is it feels like a stone, but one side of it has these intricate "writings". I found it in my childhood at Black Sea

Wow, that is really neat. I love those little findings. I have a buch of stuff that I picked up in the woods or on the street myself too.
 
Well something good happend to me today. I finally got my package that I had been waiting for two weeks. It was a video game that I had won off of e-bay for $8.50 brand spanking new! I'm really glad that I got it finally. However, I noticed something a bit odd about the cover of the game that I never noticed before when I first rented it last year. You see on the bottom left hand side of the cover the company's logo is all messed up. At first I thought it may have just be my imagination, or I was going schizophrenic, but apparently I'm not crazy I thought I was. Below are links to the game that I received, and to the logo of the company. Sure it doesn't really matter I still got the game, but I just find it weird that's all. Here take a look:

Yay something great happened to me today!
The day that I never thought was actually going to happen, happened!
My boyfriend (?) is back!!!!
Over the last few days I was questioning whether I wanted to be with him still or not, then today he called me (3 times in 2 hours), to tell me he's back and I got all the little butterflies which I havent felt since our very first phone call. So I will probably see him tomorrow or Wednesday.... wish me luck, and today is a beautiful day (even though there is a large Typhoon closing in).
 
today i found out how to set up 3d drivers for ATI 9800pro for linux (xorg), how to specify my locals on the console, that i can read and write german mutated vowels...
i think u are not really interested in that, are u? :)

Well folks,

I've finally cut my losses with my freaky pen pal.
I have known her for a year, during which time she has been going on about coming to England, maybe long term, because she wants to live here.

She has asked me to look at colleges, jobs, hotels, I've arranged rooms at friends houses. I've even been all over London trying to sell the little Teddy Bears she makes, like she asked, and she's done nothing.
I made her a T-shirt for her birthday - she didn't even remember mine. My 30th!

I visited her in Japan. She could barely stand to be in my presence and wanted to go home at 9 o clock (during Golden Week holiday)
I put it down to her being nervous. What a fool I was!
I took her to NHK headquarters in Shibuya, I could have taken someone who deserved it.

After I got back, we discussed her behaviour via email, (she was ashamed of herself)and I said I was sorry if I made her nervous by looking in her eyes - and said she has beautiful eyes - SHE LOST IT!
I said if she was serious about coming to England I would wait for her SHE LOST IT.
She told me I want a girlfriend I'll have to find someone else.

Level-headed person that I am, I thought we'd stay as friends. It's not like we got close, so I wasn't all cut up.
Her family treated me well, and I thought a lot of the problems with her were my lack of undestanding.

The 'friendship' continued, including further efforts on my part looking at hotels etc (at her request). I listened to her whining that she is isolated and no-one wants her. She went to a wedding and was upset that the bride was such a popular person.
Please bear in mind this girl has often asked to be invited to my parents house in Spain - even though she doesn't want to be close to me.

Recently, after her latest request to stay in Spain, I told her I had met a girl and could not promise to take her.

SHE HAS NOT WRITTEN SINCE!

She also gets very angry that I like Japanese women, even though she likes Englishmen - Beckham(yawn) Micheal Owen(?), Tim Roth(OK) and bloody Jamie Oliver.

Last night I sent her a detailed account of her actions from the past year, and expressed my desire to end this whole sorry situation.
I hope I never hear from her again.

Although this is a very negative post, I put it here because of the relief I feel now that this chapter in my life is over.
I have now met someone who is the polar opposite of my ex-pen pal and it opened my eyes.

Be warned guys, cuteness can be faked over the internet! I was sucked in.
Never again.
