Who are your top ten Jrock (or Jpop if you must..) bands/singers?

mine is a mix of JRock and JPoP!

and my mind changes all the time, so I'm not really sure what the rest are.
I have never heard of the band Aioria...are they good?

Oh, and I forgot to add that I kinda like Glay, Shiina Ringo, and Balzac!

I had actually never heard of them until a few days ago. I found the song Rurichou on an mp3 rotation site, and then I found one on Soulseek that didn't have a title, and I'm still searching for lyrics to find the name. They're in the upper part of my list because I'm guessing I'll like the rest of their stuff just as much.

The two songs I have both sound like they could be anime themes. Heavy on synthesizers, but still rock sounding. Come to think of it...they have that sort of tinny sound that epic SNES games used to have. Or maybe a really cool Sonic The Hedgehog song, with lyrics. Anyway, they're cool! Hehe.
 
haha~~kinki kids' songs are really great, you should try it if you have a chance.
i think BoA is bit like American style, she's good.
And also Garnet Crow, i nearly forgot them. they are pretty good as well.
 
I have never listened to Kinki Kids, either....I have heard about them like a thousand times, but I never really took the time to listen to them....One day, I was reading the Full Metal Panic Manga, and in the back, they have like a glossary thingy, and in the back, it said something about the Kinki Kinds. One of my friends is obsessed with them, and she fell out of her chair when I showed her at school. We got a detention for talking too loud. It was funny.

Anyways, I never listened to them because I was really busy obsessing over Dir en Grey, the best Jrock band ever! I have a few PVs, if anyone is lookin for them.

Anyways, thanx for postin your lists, because I have never heard of some of the bands, and I like some of them! I really like this forum! I think that this is only the second one I've joined, but I'm liking it!

I like Shiina Ringo, kinda, too. But not to be mean to anyone or anything, (so don't get offended) but Dir en Grey kicks all the other band's (I'm not gonna say it cuz I don't kno if you get in trouble for swearing on this site )

I like Balzac too, and I am not a really big Jpop fan either...

thanks for the suggestions...I'll try to listen to some of their music as sson as I can, but now my internet is down at home..so I can only be on at school...this really sucks..but I'll try to be on as much as possible during the week...

I guess that I don't really like Jpop at all, really, unless you count Gackt. I like a few of his songs, and Miyavi, too. But I don't think that he is Jpop. I don't really know for sure....But, I do know that Dir en Grey is the best! (lol, sorry!)

The only thing that kept Dir en Grey from making number 10 was Shinya...

haha~~is kinki kids very famous in America? i've never listened to Dir en Grey, but same i've heard their name thousand times. actually i just get familiar with them recently. it's really hard to be a well-known visual band, the distinctive appearance is not enough, only good music can make them stand out. so i'm sure Dir en Grey is a very good band, i will listen to their songs if i have chance.
'm doing a presentation about visual rock in a few weeks time, i'm thinking about introducing Dir en Grey, any suggestions?
