Which city in Japan is most relaxing?

Looks like a lot of options.

Personally I find most of Japan relaxing. Except 2 places that just stress me out,
1. Shibuya, Tokyo and 2. Okinawa island. There's just nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Though both places can be ridiculously exciting.

Simultaneously, the villages all close up shop so early, and open so late that I find them providing their own kind of discomfort. The kind where you're out walking alone at 6pm and there is nothing open, nothing available.

My most relaxing city was Yokosuka, Honshu because that is where I lived. My comfort was in my house and with my friends, don't worry so much about the environment of the city. Get comfortable with wherever you go. Japanese are so damn friendly and curteous, just be bold. Otherwise people are usually shy or "respective of your space" I might say.
