Where do you buy DoCoMo cell phones?

I still use my Panasonic phone as a alarm clock, schedule-reminder, 1-megapixel camera, and took several videos of my family with it for Christmas. This phone probably works in the Netherlands, maybe some parts of Europe, but not the USA... Sorry Larry... it's called "competing technology"... Every firm thinks their standard is the BEST standard... NDH... "Not designed here..." is the old saying... and that's how it goes.

Oh, and I bought it for about 円２０００ Roughly 18.00 dollars... It's no wonder people are going bonkers over using a Japanese phone outside of Japan.

As this thread is very old, I'm not expecting an answer. But I will try. So, I've read this thread and it seems that phones bought from Japan can't be used in other countries. But since this thread is very old things might have changed, so I ask: Is there any way to buy japanese cellphones and get it shipped to say, Sweden? More specifically a Fujitsu F-09C. And would I be able to use the services provided here in Sweden with the phone?
I know this might be the wrong place to ask and I'm sorry for that. But I've searched and cant find any answers.

It depends on the network and the frequency but also on whether or not your carrier/service provider will support you using it. That last bit is usually the show stopper. Not a technical reason, just not supported because its not a model they tested to work with their network.

You will have to find out first if the network (GSM, CDMA, etc) and frequency are the same and then contact your carrier/service provider and see if they will let you use it or not.
