What kind of sculpture is this?

hallo i try to find out where this sculpture codes from. I know it is bronze and japanese. And older than i am. Ok 63 years. I think the sighn on the botten means bronze. I hope some one can help me.

The other thread came to the conclusion that this is 城南 Jōnan.

And i know it is stupid ....but what does that mean. Is Johan a name from the one Who made this. I reaid that but saw it was diffecult to see it good. Is it from meiji periode....?
I also asked the person Who set up that confersation.

No it's not a stupid question. I take it to mean it's the artist or manufacturer's signature which may or may not be their actual name. Maybe somebody here has more information.
