What does this mean ? "一言で『庭』といってもこの広さだ。"
The MC is describing a garden/a courtyard I think
一言で『庭』といってもこの広さだ。木陰を選んで、机やベンチは点々と用意されている。

It's an expression to say how large the garden actually is, as opposite to the usual image of "garden" in general.

Can you made it more clear ?Like how would this expression 一言で『庭』といってもこの広さだ。translates into another English expression ? (Even if i say this is a garden ,it is actually bigger than just 1 single word )?

一言で~といっても is a kind of set expression to say that there are many variations of the topic/what they are talking about.
e.g.
一言で砂糖といってもさまざまな種類があり、特徴も違います。
一言で“マンゴー”といってもその美味しさはそれぞれ
一言でテストといっても規模も種類も質もさまざま
一言で『茶色』といってもたくさんあります。
一言で「格好良い」といってもいろいろな格好良さがあります

この広さだ means something like "(the garden) is so large, as you can see".
