Question What does 性情は、飛び込み型……とでも言うべきか mean about a person's nature/ personality ?

I met this expression when character described her superior/boss's nature or personality as "性情は 飛び込み型", and don't understand at all ("Her personality is dive type" ???) Appreciates somebody who could help me understand what this mean correctly!

A-san and B-san plus their boss/superior C-sama are serving a same Master (主). It seems A-san had realized B-san and C-sama are in love with the same person which is their Master. B-san can't express her feelings honestly and straightforward to her Master like C-sama did.

(A,B,C are female characters, only their Master is male character)

A「恋に捉われれば、人の本性が浮き彫りになるものだ」

B「な……！？」

A「Cさまの性情は、飛び込み型……とでも言うべきか。少々、視野狭窄のきらいはあるが、あれはあれで清々しい」

A「Cさまのああした真っ直ぐな好意を、主も快く受け止めているようだ」
