What are the Pros and Cons of Living and Working In Japan?

By the way, Glenski, no hard feelings, I think you understand my point, and I understand yours. 
I simply was trying to say, in my iniital post and in my subsequent posts, that I DON'T like the lying I hear everyday but I DO love the peace.
Meaning, when faced with the choice of living in a country where "honesty & violence" is prevalent (America, etc.), or living in a country where "dishonesty & peace" is prevalent (Japan), I choose the latter.
And obviously, you too have chosen to make your home here in Japan. So although our list of pros and cons might be worded slightly differently, we both love this country regardless of its flaws. Right?
