I am going to Japan soon and I am kind of a big guy(not really fat though). How do Japanese people(women) look at bigger guys.

Well they are kinda short so they look up at them.... :p

(Big is OK, fat isnt so popular, im working on being less "cuddly" right now myself)

Japanese people in general, including total strangers, will feel no reservations whatsoever about pointing out obesity and commenting on it unabashedly.

A friend of mine got sick of this, and replied to a woman that she had "horrible teeth" when she pointed out his slightly protruding gut. He really wasn't fat, and the irony was that he was English. Not exactly known for their excellence in the periodontal arts.

I never knew that many Japanese people will talk badly and openly about over weight people. I am not heavy so I have no clue what would happen. I guess height isn't really a big deal as I haven't heard much except for "Wow he is tall or wow he's huge" Usually a sort of interesting shock when I meet new Japanese people. Thanks mike that is good to know.

my gf always says im like whinne the phoo... if thats a good thing or bad i dont know. Im not fat by any means but ive let my mid range get soft.

what op is asking is how hard it is for him to hook up with women over there
everybody thinks they look better than they do in reality because they have gotten used to it thus thinking everyone else has along with them
well the answer to the question is a relatively complex equation involving physical appearance and length of time and location of the country
in short, the more unattractive a guy is, the more populated a city he will have to live in for a longer time
some guys can get on keisei from narita and be set up before they get to nippori
some guys can be there for three years and going to kokusai events every month before they get a bite
be sure to post more in order to say thanks for this valuable info

I am pretty short, and well avarage weight. so people probably won´t even look at me that much... well only when I am wearing a Yukata or a Jimbe. at least that was last year.

He could use the line, "I'm fat, but you're ugly. At least I can diet!"

May be it is because women and people of low socioeconomic position inside minority communities seem to peculiarly be impacted by stoutness and fleshiness? *Shrugs*:?
