When one man said hat, one after the other "The princess is my wife" the five men said in a quarrell.
Didn't translate the first part, just put it there so you would see the whole thing. Correct?
There the princess. the first person to bring back thing one I ask of you, his wife I'll become.
わたしが みなさんに おねがいするしなものを is the object for motsu? And what is upp with the first part "そこで かぐやひめは"?
Prince Ishidukuri buddas stone pot which is said to be in india went out to search.
When do they use "western" quotation marks? And does ...いう modify as I translated?
There, without going to India, in the middle of the road/on the way returned with/brought back.
Just doesn't make sense. Especially もどってきました which I thought meant to return or something along those lines?
The next sentence is, if it makes it easier:
5. Lastly I have a question regarding the linking of sentences. If I wanted to say: "I visited my brother last month and I will soon visit my sister". What throws me here is the past in the first sentence and the other sentence is not. If both were in present it could have been done with either the stem or the te-form for the first sentence right?
Thanks in advance
