I don't know much about uploading photos, so I'd appreciate if anyone can help me.
In "post your picture" thread, I've noticed that the members ofthen post their pictures without using the thumbnails; do they have their pictures stored in another site and pasting them by using img code, or does using a scanner work that way?
I'm getting low with my empty space in the attachment, but I'd like to post more photos.
If you want to post a photo in the forum without the thummnails, you should insert the URL in the [IMG ] tags. If the pictures is not already on a website, you can upload it in the Japan Gallery or entertainment gallery depending on what kind of picture it is, then link it from his URL.
I use Photobucket as the image hosting. They then give you both the image tag and html. That way, you can copy and paste the whole image tag into your post and, hey presto!
Try www.imageshack.com . Free account, and unlimited number of pictures you can host. They also allow larger files than Photobucket. They give you the direct link, html code, and forum code, as well as codes for thumbnail previews. ^_^
Each time I try to upload an avatar or profile image a message saying "Upload of file failed." comes up. I don't think it's the size since my avatar is 100 x 100 and only 4.76kb
I've also tried both uploading and hosting the image but it still doesn't work
