Unable to Log In On Windows 8 + Google Chrome

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 8 and I use Google Chrome (like any sane person), and for some reason the log in module does not show up when i click on it. When i use the Facebook log in it shows that there is some kind of loop and it will not log in. I've tried to clear my cookies and all the usual stuff but that hasn't worked. Can anyone offer me any kind of assistance?

Well, I hope you consider FF users sufficiently sane, too.

First of all, thanks for your feedback. I have never seen, used or touched Windows 8, therefore I'm not sure if your problems are related to the OS. I reimplemented and tested Facebook Connect yesterday and it seemed to work on my test account. I'll have another look at it.

What do you mean when you say "the login module doesn't show up" ? It's plain HTML and should be visible. Would you be so kind as to post a screen shot?

Can you see the FB Connect button and the login fields when you load the forum?



Provided you're logged in, FB Connect allows you to register and to log in to the forum, pulling some of your personal info (name and email address) registered at FB. If you are not logged into FB, a small pop-up window will open, requiring you to enter your FB handle and PW.

There seems to be a slight glitch: it doesn't load on Internet Explorer. However, only 10 per cent of our users still utilise IE, so that's not a top priority for the time being.

I have just retested the FB Connect, and it works on my box (W7, FF).

Maybe this will work ?

When I go to the JREF website and forget I'm not logged in ; when I click on the section for "BLOGS" , I get a warning I'm not logged in and the place to log in is right under the warning.

Ok thanks. To the request for a screen shot it doesn't make sense because if I click to log in on the forum the username and password input box does not appear.
