A while ago, I made it so when I type romanji into Microsoft Word, it converts to Japanese and everything went fine. But now, a Japanese character shows up for *every letter* I type in. (japanese characters are based on syllables, not letters). And I typed in "konnichiha" and it came up with "窶堙娯?堙ァ窶堙昶?堙昶?堙俄?堋サ窶堋ュ窶堙俄?堋ュ窶堋ソ". So I went to a Japanese-English translater and you know what it said? "Field you see and try in the 窶堋サ 窶堋ュ the mouth." (...lol) So can anyone help me with this?

There are 2 ways to input Japanese using Windows IME:
Romaji Input
Hiragana Imput

Look at the attached file, the upper toolbar is for Romaji, and the lower one is for Hiragana. Just click "kana", and you can get what you want.
