No, no, Kinsao; it wasn't pointed at you at all. I was simply echoing your reponse. :sorry: 😌

haha - I know. :-) I was just... kind of expounding on my philosophy of life... or something... *hey, it's kind of late here...*

i do ;-)

i have to lie a lot really, guys that just don't want to leave me alone, my father is always on my case, and my mother always wants to know where i'm hanging out! sooo....
i have a simple solution to solve the problem of remembering what you told who, and when, (this works for me anyway) 👍
i simply put a reminder on my mobile, that reminds me every now and then of what i told who. this works great, nobody will read through my daily reminders and if they do, it is all written in this freaky code, that works wonderfully, so my reminders doesn't make any sence to anybody else. ofcourse i read through these every so often, (i call it briefing myself) and a good memory is very helpful aswell!

it is not like i lie cause i love to, it is merely because they ask me questions that i cannot give a true answer to, like my dad will ask me: how much have you saved this month? what has it got to do with him!!

i guess that makes me a very distrustful virgo, but i'm not always like that, and i will not lie to my friends, unless it is to spare their feelings.

Lol, if my dad asked that i'de tell him the truth, i saved feck all, and i dont care ;)

Its less about telling the truth, and more about avoiding it without lying, plus, developing that look of sincerity is a must.

Yeah, I think I am like Nurizeko. Sometimes I think I am too truthful... :sorry: It's not that I'm not good at lying, it's just that I don't see the point. It's not in my nature, I guess... I think perhaps I saw telling lies as a kind of weakness or admission of insecurity... kind of like "why should I have to be afraid of telling you the truth?" sort of thing... oh crap... I didn't mean to offend any liars on here... :sorry: :( uhhh... may I praise your acting skills? 😌

ehehehe... errr... I thought this was meant to be more about lying to people over the internet *has gone hideously offtopic* because it's easier... that people can't so much check what you are telling them... but is it really easier? Because you are seeing things set down in writing, does that actually make it more difficult for some people to lie? What do you think?

Also there is the issue of if you meet with someone really... you'd feel pretty stupid if it was obvious you had been lying about your looks or your job or something.

Sometimes, if a person told me something, I don't think they are lying, because, for what reason? :? If some guy says he's so rich and good looking and has some so glamourous job and interesting lifestyle and really cool friends etc. etc... then anyone would be suspicious it's all a lie..... but if someone say they are something quite ordinary I would think 'what is the point to pretending that'?
