That's a colloquial/dialectal interjection probably originally from って、おい. The nuance is close to "hey!".

What do you mean by context? Please be more specific. What information you want me to inform? The story is complicated enough that I can't tell you everything. It is near the end of the game.
Here are all the lines of the conversation until then:

C: しかしまあ、オンガレッドに関しては自業自得と言っていいだろう

オンガレッド is a villain character they just beat before the conversation. He is the one did the coup and being installed as the new president.

As I gave the same question "context?" previously, your information was too little to interpret correctly, and it's still not enough. I can't get what 反対勢力 refers to, or what thing of 引き継ぎ they are talking about at all.

It's 治療をさせて頂いたことが功を奏しました, not 治療をさせて頂いたことに功を奏しました. The speaker is not talking about the success in curing.

けがの功名 is a set phrase.

The speaker is saying that ヤンロン様の治療をさせて頂いたこと is the cause/reason of 功を奏した. You need to interpret what is succeeded by that from the context.

This is a conversation that I barely understand what's going on.
The context is: there is a civil war between the north and south of a country. The south plan to take the north's suggestion of reunite and do a referendum on reunification. They seem to be talking about the result of the referendum here and evaluate its honesty.
