I have to have a driver's license in this country.

Can you write it and hiragana and if you like you can put in the kanji.

Just to clarify, do you mean that you have to get a Japanese driver's license (to do some kind of work, or to get by in daily life)?

Do you already have a license and you're trying to explain that you wouldn't be able to get by without it?

When you say "in this country" (I'm assuming that "this country" is Japan) do you mean that it doesn't have to be a Japanese license (i.e. it could be an international license or something)?

Who are you speaking to or what is the context that you want to say this?

You don't have to answer all those questions, but there a couple of different ways to say this and it's hard to say what phrasing would be most appropriate without knowing a bit more about the context.

My Japanese license expired 15 years ago. I probably still have it somewhere but based on my memory and this image search you should be able to use whatever representation you use for your name in your daily life. I suggest using whatever you use on your residency card.
