Greetings all.

I came across an estate that had this battle flag along with what seemed to be captured Japanese documents. Can anybody translate these documents or tell me what they pertain to?

Are these from the Solomon Islands or another area in the Pacific?

Thank you in advance!

The chart is the Unit Organization Chart of 4th Company. The Company Commander is 高橋清中尉 Lieutenant Takahashi Kiyoshi. There also are three Platoon Commanders names, but I couldn't find any information about them.

The text looks like a report of 粟津部隊 Awatsu Unit on September 13, 1944.

The recipient of the flag is 石川?(could be 義)一郎 Ishikawa (Giichirō?).
There is the name of a shrine 大山阿夫利神社 Ōyamaafuri Jinja, which is located in Kanagawa prefecture, on the top of the flag.
One of the presenters is 大同印刷 Daidō Printing in Kanda, Tokyo.

Thank you so much! Couple of quick questions, the islands that are sketched on the document... Any clue as to what they may be? Also how can I get more information regarding the 4th company?
Trying to search Lieutenant Takahashi Kiyoshi. It seems to be a very common name. Did you notice any clues in the documents that could place the location of this unit? Or even what happened to it? Kwajalein happened way before September 17th 1944 so it's a safe bet these documents did not come from that campaign.

The largest island is New Guinea, and the upper left is Philippines. There also are Caroline Islands, Yap, Maluku Islands, etc..

The text mentioned the attacks by US planes on these islands in the first half. The rest are about the war situation on the mainland China. The plane attacks are explained in detail, so they might be in the region.
